In January 2018, Debora Cabral and her husband Manuel Rocha opened Terra Cafe, on Main Street in Monroe. With an eye on bringing the Azores to Monroe – and a commitment to fresh, healthy, organic food for all – Terra Cafe quickly filled a niche in the local dining scene, offering a robust menu of vegan, gluten-free, and other healthy, delicious breakfast and lunch favorites.
Now a go-to among locals and visitors, Terra Cafe continues to lean into its Azorean roots with a rotating seasonal menu and selection of Portuguese products always on hand.

“Hands down my favorite place for breakfast and lunch. So many options for vegan, gluten free, and really great meat dishes, something for everyone / every mood. The drinks and lattes are amazing. And the staff is probably my favorite part, they are incredible and so nice. I visit weekly and highly recommend going to Terra Cafe.!”
